Praise and Prayer 2018

  • For the Teacher Day celebration our academic staff enjoyed. Besides a delicious lunch at Castle of Marroquin-Fantasyland, the academic staff received notes, cards, and gifts from administrative staff, students, and families. Thank you for letting them know how special they are.
  • For our 21 seniors who have invested up to 13 years of their lives here at ECA. We are thankful for all we have learned with and from them. We pray that God is guiding each one as they move into the next chapters of their lives, which include:
    • 5 studying in Colombia
    • 5 studying in the U.S.
    • 7 studying in another country
    • 3 entering a missions experience
    • 1 working

  • For our staff needs for 2019-20. We are thankful that this week we have three more teachers in the final steps of becoming a part of our team, but YOUR prayers are still needed as we have the following spots to fill: teachers for PK, K, 1st, 2nd, MS math and science, and HS Bible and science. We also need a Learning Center/Special Ed specialist and a database administrator/webmaster as well as an elementary principal.
  • For Moriah Barrios, daughter of Jhon Barrios, who is much better now and is not dependent on oxygen anymore. The doctors recommended that she not go back to the Amazon, so right now she is with her aunts in Santa Marta while her dad and sister are back in the Amazon. This is a difficult situation for the family, especially for a 6 year old, but we know the Lord is using all of this for His good purposes.
