In November 2014, the process for registering for mandatory military service was changed significantly, and high schools are no longer involved in or responsible for any part of the process. All information that students and parents need is on the Army’s website, and each eligible male student (Colombian citizen) is fully responsible for keeping informed and taking care of his own registration.
