The information you need for the beginning of the 2025-26 school year

We are at step 6 in the process, signing enrollment documents for school year 2025-26.

Remember that you must be up-to-date with steps 4 and 5 to receive your contract.

The discounted August tuition payment is due on Mon, Aug 4. After that, the full cost must be paid.

Uniforms

DISNOGAL continues as ECA’s uniform supplier for the 2025-26 school year. Their two sales points are in Centro Comercial Cedritos and Centro Comercial Sabana Norte in Chía. They will be on campus on Opening Day, Thu, Aug 7 to take orders and answer questions. You can also contact them at 318-307-6826 or at this website.

All returning students and new students in secondary are expected to be in uniform starting Fri, Aug 8 — not August 7. If your children have a problem being in uniform, send a message to the principal assistant explaining your specific situation.

Opening Day!

Thu, Aug 7 is Opening Day, the first day of class for all ECA students. This is a special time of orientation, fellowship, and relationship-building to begin our new school year together. Parents will meet teachers and receive information from the Board, the administration, and the Parent Council. Elementary parents will be visiting their children’s classrooms. You’ll see information tables for Lobena transportation, Asher food services, DISNOGAL uniforms, extracurricular activities (sports, music, art, etc.), Parent Council, and ECALI (Spanish and English conversation classes).

The time each family is expected on campus depends on the family last name:

During both sessions, we will have the official required-by-law Parent General Assembly to which all ECA parents are cordially invited in the gym.

Attendance: All students are expected to attend school both Thursday and Friday, August 78, the two half days that start the school year. If any student will miss either day, let the attendance clerk know through the OnTrack app. This is the same procedure to use throughout the school year.

Translation: Those who would like to take advantage of our translation service during the General Assembly for either English to Spanish or Spanish to English need to bring a device that allows you to connect to Google Meet, along with a headset to avoid disturbing others.

Connect using one of these options:

On Campus: All pedestrian traffic needs to enter through Gate 2 near the school van entrance and exit through Gate 1 by the guard house.

Upon arrival, all parents must register at the registration tables near the pedestrian gate and pick up their name tags, one for each parent. Registration is very important, as we need to have a quorum for the Parent Assembly. After that,

  • Elementary parents and students go to classrooms.
  • Secondary students go to homeroom classrooms.
  • Secondary parents go directly to the gym.

ECA staff will guide you that day to make your visit safe and pleasant. Please be a model to your children by following staff instructions and directions.

Food

Before and after the two General Assemblies food will be sold by the Parent Council and 12th grade families. Full lunches will not be sold, but there will be plenty of delicious snacks and treats.

  • The Parent Council will be selling salty snacks.
  • 12th grade parents and students will be selling desserts and drinks.

Parking

If you plan to drive to ECA, we recommend parking your vehicle in the parking lot ACTIVAR at the corner of Autopista Norte and Calle 222 which has 350 spots – see the map below. ECA will provide transportation between Activar and ECA or you can walk the three blocks. Parking costs $5.000. If you park on the street, ECA is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal property or vehicles. The main parking lot at ECA is reserved for staff and individuals with mobility issues until all spaces are occupied.
