Today we woke up to the sound of rain pouring down our windows. We arrived at church and ate breakfast by 8:00 a.m. Afterwards, we took time to read the book of John and pray in preparation for today’s activities. The kids starting arriving by 9:00 a.m. despite the drizzle that followed the heavy rain. We started with a small number of kids and ended up with 86 kids right before lunch. The stations we had prepared for them ran incredibly well and smoothly. After lunch, we had two more rotations in each station where the main virtue was honesty, followed by a massive game of musical chairs. In the evening we hosted a youth service and were able to interact with the community here at Quibdó. Right now we are finishing eating dinner and are about to head to the hotel for a time of rest.

We are in awe of what God did today and how He moved. We were able to see His hand working in our lives and the kids’. Today’s stations were very organized and, despite the large number of kids who attended church, everything ran smoothly. We were able to create stronger bonds with the kids and are very grateful for God’s faithfulness.

Some of our prayer requests include tomorrow’s church service and kids service. We are praying that God’s hand will move powerfully as we serve the community here.
