Yesterday, in addition to meeting the police commander, we met a young woman at the YWAM base named Suhyoen (Christy) who is Korean and speaks English. We invited her to join our team for the next few days! She is a delightful sister in Christ whom God put in our path at the perfect time!

Last night, we ate donuts and Mojojoy (a tree worm). Today, we went to Fundación La Aljaba, like a boarding school for kids with a difficult homelife. We did our program twice, once for the kids who go to afternoon school and once for the kids who go to morning school. While there, we found out that Kimberly, one of the head teachers and a former student, knows Mr. Skipps from their time in Tennessee! They not only invited us back next year, but offered to house us next year as well!

In the late afternoon, we went to an indigenous tribe called the Huitoto or Kilometer Once. We worked with the police to present our program to the tribe. The police gave us a ride back to base in their police vehicles with the lights on, which was such a fun experience! We just arrived back at the base for dinner and to prepare for tomorrow.

Praise God that our coincidences are actually His sweet and perfect timing. Please pray for God’s continued guidance, as well as our team’s flexibility, safety, health, and courage. Thank you all so much for your prayers!
