Farewells!

Alaina Shelton High School Principal	Thank you for allowing me to serve at ECA this school year. It has been a crazy experience amidst COVID! I will be getting married June 26, moving to DC, then moving to Rwanda to serve with my new husband alongside the U.S. Department of State. Pray that we transition well, and that God places us exactly where He desires with jobs, housing, and community.
Charlotte Bard Elem Principal	I am so sorry to have to leave my beloved Bogotá. My future plans are in God’s hands. However, I intend to finish my doctoral program on August 8. I have applied for various positions around the world, but I may need a mental break before I dive into a new role. Please be in prayer for wisdom in transitioning into a position that God is leading me to.
Daniela Ochoa Kinder-B	I will be a 1st grade teacher at Harvest Christian Academy in Delaware. Please pray for the Lord to always keep me hopeful, joyful, and faithful to Him.
Diana Macías HS Science	After a blessed school year at ECA teaching health and science, I’ll be teaching nursing classes online and going back to care for patients in a hospital setting. I’m looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me in the near future related to my nursing career and working diligently to achieve opportunities that will allow me to serve others better.
Eric Robinson 5th/6th Computers	My wife and I will be transitioning to the States, moving closer to some friends and our families. Please pray that the processes with the embassy will go smoothly so that we can transition easily.
Felicity Jones Art / ELL Specialist	I will be moving to Seattle, Washington to teach art. I would appreciate prayers for a smooth transition.
Hannah Anderson Díaz 3rd Grade	In June, my husband and I are moving to Guadalajara, Mexico. Diego will be playing soccer and focusing on evangelism with his teammates. Please pray for us as we get ready to move, and also for ministry opportunities for us as a couple. I will miss ECA so much!
Jenna Shallcross HS English	CJ and I will be celebrating our marriage together with family on July 3. Then we will be flying to Germany on July 14 after some stateside visits. We ask that you be praying for our support raising process. We hope to be 100% funded by our departure date. Right now, we are at 87%.
John Server HS Social Studies, Math	I’m exploring different opportunities in the Winston-Salem area, including teaching positions and positions with some non-profit organizations. People can be praying for clarity and direction in my future decisions.
Laura Ames Kinder-A	I do not have a firm plan to share at this time. Pray for wisdom as I dream and plan for the future!
Teresa Brown HS Math, Science	For now, my main plan is to be the best mom I can. My husband Manuel and I are currently working on gaining a US visa for him to be able to live there. When and if granted, the plan would be for our family to move there and seek some sort of employment. We hope for this to take place within the next 6 months. In the meantime, we continue to work with children and families in the neighborhood of El Codito. I would ask for prayer for the changes coming ahead and for God’s wisdom in raising our son Lucas.
Theunice Oliver 5th Grade, 5th/6th Science	Please pray for safe travel and for God to continue to use me where He sees fit.
Joshua Hernández 2nd Grade	Future plans are still uncertain, including possibly staying at ECA. Please pray that I would be doing God’s will wherever He places me.
Nancy Osorio MS Math	I am grateful to God for the wonderful opportunity this school year has given me and I will continue serving as a volunteer in this ECA community that I love so much. Please join me in praying for God’s protection and guidance for our daughter Valentina, who is starting a new stage in her life at a university in Cleveland, Ohio. We pray especially for her to find a church and a Christian community where she can continue to grow spiritually.
