On Friday, we continued our work at La Aurora school. We were able to finish weeding the long jump, painting the elementary playset, creating a butterfly house, and setting up a new volleyball court. We also continued working with the students in English and craft activities, and had the opportunity to pray for them. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we were able to gift the school with supplies to continue the work and purchase groceries for a month for 5 families in need. Groups of our students had the opportunity to pray for these families, and a few students were even able to do home visits to take groceries and pray for families. We included gospel messages with each bag of groceries. One woman was so moved by the experience that she gave us a strawberry plant to plant at ECA, telling us to remember how we had blessed her every time we look at that plant. Overall, we had a great trip and accomplished much more than we had originally imagined. God is so good!
