Good evening!
We are in Turbaná at the Colombia Grace Foundation! Thanks to everyone who prayed while we were traveling. The main flight, most people were on, was delayed a bit but we were able to meet as a whole group at the airport in Cartagena before taking a trip through flooded streets to the Foundation. Once we arrived, we received a quick tour of the finca and started settling into our cabins. The finca is rustic but nice. Everyone is adjusting to the humid heat and all the insects and wildlife. So far on the list of sightings are geckos, chickens, pigs, cows, and other interesting creatures. They are all great reminders to be aware of our surroundings! This evening, we were able to enjoy a welcome dinner with the boys and families that live at the foundation and celebrate Mr. Chaparro’s birthday with song and cake. We are working on finishing planning our plans for Vacation Bible School for Saturday thru Monday. Tomorrow will be full of painting and sprucing up some of the homes where the boys live.
