Good evening to you all!

Today we started the Vacation Bible School and there were some more kids that came to take part in the activities. At the beginning of the day, we started with some songs where we danced and taught the kids some choreographies to go along with them. We taught the kids the verse of the day (Psalm 139:23) and then we broke the kids up into groups according to their age. Next, the kids separated into four stations: Bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks. All the activities revolved around the first part of the story of Joseph getting his colorful coat and having dreams of his brothers bowing down before him. Our VBS will continue to revolve around this story of Joseph for two more days. Finally, we came back together to sing the same songs once again, reviewed the verse, and wrapped up in prayer. The kids enjoyed it a lot and we did too. Finally, we gifted the kids some frisbees and played ultimate frisbee with them. The afternoon ended with board games and free time with the kids. Thank you for praying for us!

Praises:

  • Being able to connect with the kids and have more conversations with all of them
  • The kids were responsive to the story of Joseph and the small groups
  • The kids enjoyed the games and crafts; they all enjoyed their time with us

Prayer Requests

  • That the kids would be able to keep connecting with us and that their hearts would be open to Jesus
  • That a seed would be planted in the hearts of the kids with the VBS
  • For health and safety for what is left of the trip
