Amazonas Team

Today was a very special day. We spent the whole time at the base after having an all-night vigil last night. We started with 8 of the 10 students and finished at 6:00a with 3 students in a deeply meaningful time with God, full of spiritual movement.

During the day, we were at church: Yonahatan preached, the students led worship, and they also ran the children’s ministry. After the service, around noon, we went to enjoy the river – not the Amazon itself, but a natural spring with very clean, refreshing water.

Two days ago, we held boat driving lessons for the men, and today was the women’s turn. It was a beautiful moment – each of them had a chance to steer the boat in a safe area with proper guidance. Then we swam and shared time with a family from the community, along with Pastor Alejandro and Andrea, the leaders of the base. It was a day full of connection and joy.

Please pray for us tomorrow as we begin our journey through the jungle to a point where a car will pick us up and take us to a park focused on Amazonian life and culture. Later in the day, we’ll arrive in Leticia to prepare for our flight on Tuesday.
