Today, Wednesday the 9th, we went to Idipron – Parque La Florida to support the ministry of the Bruster family among the Emberá indigenous people, who have been displaced from their lands and now live there.

There are people from 3 Embera groups: Katíos, Dobida and Chami. The vast majority do not speak Spanish and the work is arduous in sowing the word of God in 3 different languages.

We went as a team to work with children and teenagers to open the way for them to continue to reach out to the people of each group.

Part of the team worked with the younger children who enjoyed games, songs, drawings, and an audio Bible story recorded in their language.

The second team worked with the teenagers and adult men. They played soccer and then shared God’s word and prayed for them.

We were impacted by the poverty and difficult conditions in which these families live. We remembered how blessed we are and the gratitude we should have at all times.

We also thanked God for being able to know Him and enjoy His love for us.
