After a night of listening to the donkeys bray and the roosters practice their call, we were a bit tired. Nonetheless, we headed out to begin our longest hiking day. An hour in, we stopped to visit 6 families, two per team, and then ate our lunch. From there, we hiked another almost 2  hours to arrive at the final Wayuu community we will be staying with. We loved seeing and tasting the sal marina from the salt flats along the way. We arrived to our rancheria on the beach, grateful for the sea breeze which cut the heat.
