This morning we were able to fellowship with the local church and share a song that we had prepared. We got to surprise the church by singing Agnus Dei in English, Spanish, and Wayuunaiki! Gustavo Chaparro shared a message at the church about seeking and knowing the truth revealed in God’s word.

After the service, we taught “Who is Jesus and what did He do?

Sarita carefully planned out the activities for today and we were so thankful for all of her plans even if she couldn’t be with us in person!

First, she planned a game where the children clapped if the answer was true.

For example, “Do you know who Jesus is?”

Did you clap?😉

Daniel then led the kids in learning the Bible verse for today: John 19:10

Then, the children were split into six groups where they learned motions to teach the different names of Jesus such as The Bread of Life, the Resurrection, and The Door.

After refreshments, the children enjoyed a game of tag with paint. If the kids were painted (representing sin) they could run and be cleaned.

Desert side note: One of the children got a thorn in his foot because many of the children played barefoot. Another child helped to take out the splinter by pulling a thorn off of a cactus to deepen the cut to pull it out.

Finally, Julian explained to the children the truth of Jesus being the vessel who cleanses us of all sin.

We were blessed to have another day of sun, fun, and dehydration.

(Everyone is safe and not actually dehydrated. Thank you for your prayers and love)
