Today we had the opportunity to enjoy our activities with the local school. Being in this school, we were reminded how blessed we are to have our school at ECA. With one cement floor and cactus bark ceilings they conduct their classes each day. However, even with these resources, their joy is radiant.

The first activity that Jerónimo planned for today was a melody memory game to teach the children how the Bible was preserved and passed down through generations.

Next, Jerónimo led a game of musical chairs to show how the other religions died out, but Christianity endured through the ages.

Next, we taught Matthew 24:35, which talks about how God’s words are eternal.

After refreshments, Jerónimo shared a message about how everything in the Bible either has happened or will happen. To emphasize this, the team acted out the story of the coin in the fish’s mouth to show that every detail Jesus said was true.

Finally, Jerónimo planned a game of red light, green light to demonstrate that the truth remains the same.

We concluded our time by singing Agnus Dei together. “God is Holy and He is worthy of all praise. Amen.”

Tomorrow, the team will enjoy some time in Riohacha before our flight. Please pray that there would be continued safety on our way home. Thank you for your prayers!
