The team showed tremendous energy and determination today even though it was the hottest day yet! See the videos for proof!

We learned a lot about being adaptable today. Time is not prioritized here, so there were multiple times throughout the day where we just needed to adapt. Like when we planned to begin teaching at 9am and didn’t have the kids from the community show up until 10:15am. We simply needed to adapt.

Mr. Skipps, Yoli and I lead charlas to the women of the community. The women learned about nutrition which included how to take advantage of all the chicken walking around here and the importance of keeping your body clean to fight off diseases and infections. Yoli ended the time talking about the importance that our heart plays in raising children and keeping our priority on Him to lead our lives.

Tomorrow (Sunday) we are headed to the other rancheria. While there is no electricity, it is much cooler and has running water. Please pray for team unity as we enter into this community and that the Lord would give us abundant wisdom to know how to serve well.

What a loving, intentional God we serve.
