Today, as we woke up thinking on the habitual tasks to do with the kids, there was the feeling of it being different. We put on a little skit, we sang some songs, there was a drama about the crucifixion of Jesus (the children enjoyed it a lot), and then divided into our normal groups. Each small group learned about how to teach the kids depending on the ages, and how to adjust to changing of plans and to the different ways we worked. Learning about shapes and the importance of reading with a fun bookmark they could take home was the way we ended our classes and our teaching days.

Finally, we went to Miguel’s grandfather’s finca as a great way to relax, share as a group and pass some time collecting cacao, mandarins, and other different fruits we found on the property. Also, a musical group and the excitement of the colombian soccer match were things we had the privilege to enjoy. Overall this was a great day, and the last one with the kids. A day full of joy and smiles. Please pray for our safe travels back to Bogotá and that we have impacted the life of those kids in the way they needed to be impacted.
