In recent years, gardens have been incorporated into urban sectors, both in houses and buildings, and of course, in schools as well. Incorporating these gardens in educational centers has been of great importance since it allows students to develop many abilities, and in turn, it promotes meaningful and social learning as well as helping care for the environment.

Some benefits of having gardens in schools are opportunities to get in touch with nature, show plants’ growth processes, create spaces for teamwork, encourage healthy lifestyles, etc. Therefore, we should find ways to have gardens both in our homes and schools, and thus approach nature in a more familiar way in order to protect and care for it as the Lord has ordered us.
