Today we joined the Kogi community for their Sunday service. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to see them worshipping God in their own language! We participated in taking communion with them and led the Sunday school time with a skit, games, fun worship songs and even some art.

After church, the community likes to have a time of soccer. We joined in on the fun with several teenagers and kids. Some stayed behind to keep painting the church sanctuary, and others played with the little ones.

Tonight we had a bonfire with adults from the community. We even roasted marshmallows – a new experience for most of them! Pray for quality time with the adults and teenagers. Today they really opened up more to us and we look forward to more encouraging conversations and sharing stories tonight.

Thank you for helping us pray for water! Praise the Lord, they were finally able to help us bring up two 6-liter bottles of water.

Thank you for all your support!
