Praise
- For the 160 families who attended the Parent Workshop Raising Children Wisely. We are delighted to see each parent’s commitment to receiving tools to better fulfill the task of parenthood that God has entrusted to them.
- For more and more families joining together in the monthly 24 hours of prayer. We have a God who loves us, listens to us, and above all, showers us with His blessings. We encourage you to mark your calendars to join us on the last Friday of each month when we gather for this wonderful time.
- For the 7th & 8th grade retreat – it was a memorable time of worship, teaching, and fellowship around the theme “Living a Radical Life for Christ.” Students engaged in powerful sessions, heartfelt worship, and fun, community-building activities, especially the night game, which was a clear favorite. Most importantly, four students made the life-changing decision to accept Christ. We celebrate all that God has done and look forward to seeing these seeds of faith grow.
- For Faranot Louis’ (MS math teacher) scheduled arrival in Bogotá on Thu, Oct 16! Continue praying for the 8 other visas still needed. We have received helpful insights on how to proceed with these visa processes, but we are praying for miracles as we continue moving forward.
- For the ACSI workshop on Biblical Integration that our academic staff participated in on Sep 24 and 26. Dr. Debbie MacCullough shared her insights on developing lessons with a biblical worldview, and also spoke about ACSI’s Global Standards that are currently being developed.
- For a restful Fall Break and the opportunity that our ECA staff had to recharge for 2nd Quarter, and the special time that ECA families had at home with their children.
