We Praise the Lord Jesus:
- For the incredible opportunity our high school students had on their service trips last week. The 4 teams served in Soacha, Sopó, Tunja, and Villa de Leyva and demonstrated the love of Jesus not only in what they said, but through the love, kindness, and unity the students showed to one another. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer for a safe and fruitful trip!
- For the implemented changes to our attendance procedure that have helped make the process run smoother in the mornings.
- For the opportunity we had to be blessed by Krystal Curtiss, the Music student teacher. May God bless her as she finishes her time at ECA on Sep 25 and returns to the United States.
- For the Skaalum/Melo family, who joined the ECA community 2 months ago to serve as volunteers in Middle School and Elementary. We have been blessed by the joy they have brought to our community. Their last day at ECA will be Fri, Oct 2.
- For 3 more approved missionary visas! Keep praying for the 1 in process along with 2 additional visa renewals.
Join Us in Prayer
For Beth Afanador, who left last week for the U.S. for the annual ECA recruiting trip in the States and Canada. Beth will be speaking to students studying education in various colleges. Pray as she confirms with different professors and works out the logistics to share about ECA. The next few weeks, she will be in North Carolina, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Alberta, Canada.
For ECA families facing financial challenges. We know that about 15 of our families are currently experiencing financial difficulties, and there may be others carrying this burden privately. Please pray that God would provide for their needs, give them wisdom and peace, and surround them with the right support during this season. May our school community continue to be a place where families experience compassion, grace, and practical care.
