ECA Vision Days

2 Points per Parent

We will soon be starting ECA Vision Days! These days are an opportunity for us to hear from you on a personal level. You are invited to come to school for about 90 minutes to gather with a handful of other families on the ECA campus, have coffee and meaningful conversation with some of our leaders, tour the school (old, new, and future), and share your dreams for how ECA can continue to grow in excellence and Christ-like influence. We hope this will be a unique time for ECA and ECA families to get to know one another better. We will be inviting about 50 families per month, so be on the lookout for invitations that will show up in your email and be sent home with your child. You will be able to choose between 2 different time slots on 5 different days (10 total opportunities per month). As a bonus, you receive 2 parent points for coming. We hope you find a time that works for you!

ECA Conferences

3 Points per Parent

On Sat, Sep 21 from 7:00a – 1:00p* in the MPR, we will be kicking off a brand-new program called ECA Conferences. This first ECA Conference is called Welcome to McWorld: Parenting the Next Generation. It will be led by Andrew Lupton, the head pastor at United Church of Bogotá. He’s had years of experience working with students of all ages from all over the world, and has a passion to equip parents with the tools they need to be successful. Our planning team is personally excited to learn from all his knowledge and experience as we seek to become better parents.

The cost is $40.000 per family and includes two snacks, childcare, excellent translation (from English to Spanish), all you can drink coffee, and two non-ECA guests. If you need translation, be sure to bring earphones and a device that can receive radio signal 87.5 FM (iPhone does not work for this). If your family has donated 3 million pesos or more to the construction since July 2019, this conference is free for your family and 2 non-ECA guests to attend. Parents can earn up to six Family Points for attending this event.

This is not a fundraising event. Our goal is not to make a ton of money. Our goal is to encourage our ECA community and to give our families a small taste of what it is like to be a part of a Christ-centered, educational community that biblically equips bilingual servant leaders to transform their world. Our hope and prayer is that this will be a blessing to all in attendance!

*  Note about the timing of this event: We chose 7:00-1:00 because of traffic patterns. Traffic going north before 7:00a is usually not too bad on Saturdays, and traffic going south before 1:30p is usually pretty light as well. Registration with hot chocolate and bread (snack #1) will be at 7:00, and the first session will begin promptly at 7:30.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know at for English speakers or for Spanish speakers.
