*Reporte rápido desde Guajira, la señal no es muy buena*

We made it safely to the rancheria and started activities with our ministry partner MININD. Today we will be working on activities that will teach them about “How do we distinguish between truth and lies?”

The theme of today was “What is truth?”

Martin led the day of activities by starting with an ice breaker to learn learn more about each other.

Then, the student acted out the first story of truth and a lie: Adam and Eve in the garden.

After this, we played broken telephone. We shared sentences in each language. One sentence in Spanish, English, and Wayunnaiki. Each sentence got distorted and was not the true sentence at the end. Martin used this game to teach the truth that just as God tells the truth, and it can be distorted if we do not listen carefully and study it.

Then we played a life size version of shoots and ladders. However, Martin added a twist to make it snakes and ladders to remind us of how Satan’s lies, like the one he told when he was a snake in the garden, take us further away from our real goal.

We ended the night with a beautiful sunset and a nice cold shower between cactuses.
