The entire weekend has been great, filled with lots of exciting activities. The team is full of energy, looking forward to what comes next and the new challenges that we will face together.

The day passed pretty quickly, with lots of fun activities with the kids in the morning church service. We got to teach kids of all ages different things, like the power of testimonies, and Zarina got to go over the Creation Story with them – she is going to teach the Jiw tribe tomorrow!

After that, some of the SENA teachers had invited us to see one of the most touristy places in San José, Los Pozos. It was an awesome time to discover some of San José del Guaviare’s beauties. We got to swim at waterfalls and natural springs. Also, God blessed us with even more water when we started going back to the van. It started raining really hard, and although some phones didn’t turn on afterwards, our happiness was clearly visible because of the group’s smiles.

We had lunch downtown at 4:40 p.m. (pretty late, as you notice) and gave one or two lunches to some people in the place. To end our day, we will have a meeting with Gustavo (a permanent missionary to the Jiw) to ask some questions about the Jiw and also learn some of their language. Thanks for your continuous prayers and support!
