Description

If you are a parent of a middle or high school Third Culture Kid (TCK), you are invited to this special workshop presented by Boriana Raykova, a licensed professional counselor, and Sarah Leonard, a TCK mom and Coordinator for ECA’s TCK program.

If you are unsure whether or not your child is a TCK, here is a simple definition: A person who [has spent] a significant part of his/her first 18 years of life accompanying parent(s) into a country or countries that are different from at least one parents’ passport country(ies) due to a parent’s choice of work or advanced training.

The workshop, entitled “Raising TCKs: Seen, Known and Thriving,” will equip parents to better understand TCK challenges and develop tools to respond to these challenges, while creating a hope-filled space for questions and connection with other parents of TCKs.

This interactive workshop will be from 7:30 – 11:30a at ECA on Sat, Nov 8. Coffee and a snack will be provided. Translation will be available too.

If you have any questions or would like more information, contact Sarah at college.counselor@eca.edu.co or Boriana at boriana.raykova@eca.edu.co.
