Today is David Izquierdo’s birthday, so the whole team woke him up early! We snuck into his room with our flashlights and cameras ready, as we sang and prayed for him. Later, we were able to share a birthday cake with him too!

Our morning consisted of cleaning, washing dishes, a devotional led by a staff member, and more soccer; the championship is still going strong! Unfortunately, our girls’ team didn’t qualify, but both David and Mr. Flavin have qualified for the next round.

After lunch we have a whole-group prayer time, and then a continuation of the soccer championship. We’ll then be doing animal chores and preparing for our English immersion evening activities.

Tomorrow we have a super busy day, consisting of a day trip to a natural pool with the children, animal chores, and a group presentation followed by a campfire and s’mores! Please pray for continued strength and energy to put our very best effort into investing in the lives of the people here in Cumaral.

Thank you for your continuous prayers and blessings!

Allison and the Cumaral Team
