During the first 3 weeks of school, procedural adjustments are made in many areas to take into account the reality we are now living. Significant improvements have already been made in the logistics of student arrivals and departures, and we will continue to seek ways to efficiently and safely manage this area. It is important for parents to follow these recommendations.

AM

  • Families should submit daily OnTrack reports by 7:00, preferably by 6:45.
  • Students who come on school vans should be at the pick-up point at least 3 minutes before the designated time.
  • Students who do not come on school vans should arrive between 7:30 and 7:50a at the parent entrance near the school van gate. Early supervision is arranged for special cases.
  • Private drivers dropping off students should pull up to the parent entrance and stay in the car while ECA staff help students get out with their belongings. Wait your turn in line and follow ECA staff instructions.
  • When leaving, cars need to pass the van gate completely before making a U-turn. Do not block the van gate even momentarily.

PM – for those picking up students at the pedestrian gate

  • Park only on the north side of Calle 221 (next to ECA) so you do not block the lane the vans use when leaving the parking lot.
  • Line up according to the signs/instructions of ECA staff to wait for your children to come out, maintaining the required distance at all times – currently 1 meter.
  • When leaving, cars need to pass the van gate completely before making a U-turn. Do not block the van gate even momentarily.

Your help is vital to improve this process and make student arrivals and departures as efficient and safe as possible.
