Following in her father’s footsteps to be a teacher was her dream from childhood. Studying elementary and Christian education at Wheaton College, teaching nine years at an international school in Bogota, and getting her master’s in school leadership were some of the steps God used to prepare Beth to invest in El Camino Academy.
For over 30 years, Beth has led the ECA team as the school has grown but kept its focus on helping students love God, serve others, and move into leadership.
Beth’s husband, Rafa, leads Fundacion Internacional Maranata, which runs three daycare centers and Colombia Without Orphans, which encourages Christians to act to combat the challenge of orphans and vulnerable children in Colombia.
Beth enjoys interacting with her grown children and little grandkids, even if it is long-distance!
